I have had the privilege of working with Ricky and Humanettiq for the past two years, and the impact they have had on our young people has been remarkable.

Through their work, our students have been equipped with practical, meaningful tools that help them to self-regulate, especially during difficult and challenging times. Ricky brings a unique and compassionate approach, supporting our students through mindfulness, self-defence, meditation, and mindset coaching in a way that genuinely resonates with them.

The difference we have seen is significant. Many of our students have shown improved self-awareness, a noticeable reduction in behavioural concerns, and better overall engagement, including increased attendance. What has been especially powerful is seeing students independently apply these techniques—not only within the classroom but also in their lives at home.

Perhaps the strongest testament to the impact of this work is the enthusiasm from our young people themselves. Many actively seek out opportunities to continue and repeat the sessions, which speaks volumes about how valued and effective they find the programme.

We are incredibly proud to be working with Humanettiq. Their work is not only supporting our students in the present moment but is helping them build skills that will positively shape their futures.

The Humanettiq enrichment program is an amazing initiative. It helps young people build self-confidence, self-respect, and emotional intelligence. Sometimes young people go through difficult things and don’t trust anyone enough to talk about them. You can often see it in their behaviour, but instead of isolating them or labelling them as bad kids, the enrichment program brings them together.

They are given tasks that challenge them, and when they succeed, it gives them a real sense of confidence and achievement. The environment it creates also helps them feel less defensive and more comfortable opening up. From what I’ve seen, the kids trust Ricky and feel able to speak to him, which in my opinion is a huge relief for them. You can clearly see it helps because they keep coming back.

When I was younger, we had nothing like this, and I honestly think that if we did, it could have stopped a lot of young people from taking the wrong path in life. Everyone — especially young people — needs support, guidance, and understanding, and that’s exactly what Ricky and the Humanettiq enrichment program are providing.
